Atwater Brewery at 237 Jos Campau, Detroit, Michigan.

Put our name in for a table and ordered some drinks at the bar. Waited outside for 30mins for our table and told the hostess we would be out there. Came inside to ask about the wait and they forgot about us (I used to work as a host and totally understand how this can happen). Ordered another beer and waited for a table some more. Finally got sat and waited for another +25mins but never got approached by a server, even after asking the host to send us one (watched him approach a waitress and point out our table. A couple of us waived back to them during this exchange). Still, no one approached us. Bailed on the place even though we were hungry and wanted to eat. Really disappointed about the way things played out so I won't be back anytime soon even though the beer is good.

Edit: On the way out I decided to ask for a manager to explain what happened to our group of 6. The woman I talked to at the bar initially was understanding and empathetic. She was just as frustrated as I was that we were not taken care of. She said she would grab the general manager who would be able to offer something for us if we wanted to return. When he came out, he gave me a $25 coupon for future use. However, he was far from empathetic and was just hoping to brush the situation aside and move on. The guy would barely look me in the eye when I was talking to him, even when I shook his hand before I left. He didn't seem to care one bit that we were ignored.

The food and beer was ok. Ok atmosphere. Nothing crazy special.
